cannot criticise that performance. Fantastic from start to finish, and only a referee and two misses from Richards have cost us that game. We bossed it completely. Every single one of them ran themselves into the ground, and we've been beaten by a completely poxy goal.

So seriously, you moaning f*ckers, shut the f*ck up. My God, we have completely outplayed them and the luck was totally against us. That simple.

Paul Hayes doubters who think strikers HAVE to score goals - note the boo'ing from all the fans when they thought he was being substituted, note the brilliant run and pass to set up Shuker, the outstanding cross to Richards who couldn't miss but did. You're all talking crap.

I'm proud of the players, furious at the referee, and credit to the fans that were there and got behind the team, and applauded them like they deserved at full time.

I need to calm down, that really wasn't healthy to watch - It hurt because it was so so so undeserved.

    Point is we've dropped

out of the play-off zone & realistic chance of automatic promo is fast becomming a dream. When you start to look at other teams, then that tells a story

If we play like we did today..

    We'll cruise into the playoffs.

Beat Chesterfield, Bradford, Southend, Blackpool and Walsall -- all very winnable, and we'll be fine.

Sincerely hope so.. but a great chance might well be missed

That's my main gripe with Ritchie, not today's result alone. it's nice to play well & dominate, but a lack of nous/professionalism by one or 2 players have cost us dearly

Only winnable if you can put the ball in the net

RE: If we play like we did today..

What planet are you on pal, and don't give me that crap about being there, I've not missed at home all season, this team WILL NOT reach the playoffs, because the teams around us are better than us, Huddersfield won today because they scored a goal, we have strikers that don't strike, Hayes is utter *****.

Exactly Right Rob. Some people just talk out of their fecking arseholes! Anyone who was at the match could see we were by far the better team. What the **** do people expect from Ritchie? Is it Ritchies fault that every shot we hit was either miss hit, cleared off the line or hit the bar? Is it Ritchies fault that the referee fails to give us a clear penalty and then sends off our striker for **** all? Is it Ritchies fault that the ball takes a lucky bounce of Colgan straight back to that ****** Taylor-Fletcher? The fact is we played well today and to criticise the team and management is just plain out of order. Also credit to Brian Howard at full time aswell, rarely do you see a player looking as gutted as he did at full time, it just shows how much he cares.

    My God..

You know what Ive realised? Id rather listen to the dee-dahs moan on Radio Sheffield and read some of the bulls*it you lot post.

Shuker hit the crossbar from 25 yards but we're apparently scared to shoot. Richards missed two sitters, Hayes put chances on a plate for people, yet he's sh*te.

Aye, alright. You're a bunch of morons. I've never had quite the audacity to complain so vehemently about a performance that I didn't see. Its like Praise or Grumble.

    "Praise or Grumble?"

"Grumble - I werent at the game but it wor shiiite."

    flipping waste of time.

Yes we did play well but you can't just blame poor luck all the time. There's a saying that you make your own luck and we have no-one to blame today but ourselves. Our lack of quality, composure and confidence in and around the box was there for all to see. Hayes and Richards just aint good enough pure and simple. Sure Hayes is a skilful player capable of creating but ultimately he is supposed to be a striker and strikers win matches. Not with SIX goals in nigh on forty games..Jeez Andy Saville had a better strike rate than that ! As for Richards he had a purple patch in the New Year but is now showing his true capabilites ie lower division journeyman, there are better in league two mid table sides. An 18 month contract for him will fast become a millstone around our necks when we are trying to recruit in the summer on a limited budget. Said it before and I'll say it again Nardiello is our only hope up front but his poor discipline has cost us his services next week, but how much was his stupidity today down to frustration at seeing all those chances go begging while he was again warming the bench ?
Sorry chaps but there's no way back from here we haven't got the bottle to retrieve it. That's not doom and gloom pessimism just plain old honesty. A few of you might see it differently but in your heart of hearts you know I'm right

    RE: My God..

No point getting worked up Rob they're a bunch of brain dead tossers. If people want to moan then fair enough but maybe it'd worth having a well considered argument first rather than just 'Hayes is ****!'or 'We lost so lets sack Ritchie!'

    RE: My God..

Are you on drugs? Hayes was quality today and has played well for most of the season, his touch is excellent and created plenty of chances for others. Get your head out of your arse, being a striker isn't just about scoring goals!
