A bit of sad news, a lad in my year (1967 intake), Phil Porter from Wath passed away a couple of weeks ago. Stage 4 lung cancer I understand.

Even a Wendy fan didn't deserve that. RIP Phil mate.

Sad news. Several of my contemporaries (1963) cohort are no longer with us. The most recent being Ian Dragovic. I believe he was from your neck of the woods back in the day. You may know his younger brother Danny, who in formed me back in March.

Danny was in my sister's year and I often saw him (dimly through the spliff smoke) in the Halfway Hotel (Highgate). Ian was my table head in the canteen when I was about 12, it's mainly due to his strange ideas of fair shares that I retain my lithely slim figure to this day :D:D:D

What happened to Drags? Brilliant bloke. He was best man at my parents' wedding. I last saw him just before the pandemic in Church House in Wath. Watched the cricket World Cup final with him.
