Join Our Team and Support Disability Athletics in the Region

Norwich Union the team behind UK Athletics, has launched the “Join Our Team” Funding Initiative. The initiative offers the opportunity for local sports initiatives from across the county a chance to win valuable funding. On of the initiatives competing in this initiative is a bid from the Yorkshire and Humberside Regional Disability Athletics Forum who is hoping to gain much needed funding extend there work in the region.

There are three awards on offer to successful bids. There are bronze awards worth £1,000 for bids that have significant local support. silver awards worth £12,500 for the bid in the region that received the most votes and a single national gold award with a value of £50,000 to be won. Your vote really will help bring funding into the region plus there is a chance for voters to win prizes every month until the end of the campaign in September.

Anyone over the age of 12 is eligible vote and voting couldn’t be simpler. Just log into the join our team website, register and vote. Detail of the regional disability bid can be found on: http://www.joinourteam.com/initiative/showinitiative?id=95
