    It's from a third party company, not Microsoft. Don't download and install.

    Where did you see this message? A popup on a web site you visited. It's like the ones that pop up saying you have a virus and the click the 'Scan' or 'Clean' button which actually installs a bucket load of crap on your PC.

    Cheers, daughter been temp. sharing my laptop, and don't know what she's been downloading. It comes when I select a new tab, it pops up.The new tab doesn't seem to run from Chrome like the original tab?

    I think if you havent already I would download and run Superantispyware ( http://www.superantispyware.com/ and click Free Edition download ) and see if there is something installed you dont want - or maybe a quick check of the running programs and see if there is something from driversupport you didnt remember installing
