That really is the worry though, long-term. If there is a big enough voting public in this country that want something then there is nothing to stop it happening. What if a Muslim party who believe in Shariah comes to prominence? They could start to gain support in the same way that the BNP have. They could end up winning the odd seat, they could end up being a major party, or the government. Especially if the Muslim community continues to grow here like it has. Sounds extreme and scare mongery but I can't see why it isn't a distinct possibility, at least a party with largely Muslim beliefs. Cultural change aplenty.

It's happening in Europe too. "2030 - then we take over" - a slogan popular amongst European muslims, apparently. Started in Sweden of all places. There are some American commentators who predict a Muslim takeover of Europe and a war between America and Muslim Europe. Only opinion but it is an eye opener.
