Well.......... Pet Shop Boy has been turned off and the radio is on. Just listened to Chelsea Dagger.
RE: Bloody hell. An album that you like, that I like too. give up, I recon we both like the same music
Fine fecking knackered tho`. Got to find an easier way to make a living. Humping great lumps of steel around is no good, I can tell you that
Come home with me, little Matty Groves... ..and sleep with me tonight. Possibly by favourite Fairport song but there are so many it's hard to pick one. I take it that you knew they did this whole album at Cropredy this year with all of the 1969 line up (minus Sandy Denny of course!). Chris While stood in on vocals - wish I could have seen it but I couldn't make it for that weekend. Saw Chris on Monday night though at the Nettlebed Folk Club, not far from me in deepest Oxfordshire. She did a fantastic two hour set with her band.
RE: Come home with me, little Matty Groves... seen Richard and Linda a few times over the last 2 or 3 years, still magic
off to see the god that is Ralph Mctell on sunday, he's always at copredy and has written many songs the fairports have recorded over the years, Red and Gold, Girl from the Hiring fair etc
