Tuesday night has become a must win game for us after the results went against us yesterday. Does Flicker play Mellis, or start with JOB? Will Daggers be fit? Will Harewood rediscover his first touch? Will Sir Bobby get a start. Will Stonesy still be a Barnsley player, and will we get anyone in?
I'd play Mellis. The one bit of quality we have in our team and O'Brien unfortunately doesn't fit into the system we play(unless he's right wing back). Same side that started but with Stones instead of Wiseman.
Thought it was difficult for him, he needs midfield to set a platform for him and we never got hold of it properly. He's still the one player who can create something - that pass through to Dagnall was quality in the second half. Hit on the volley straight through their defence.
Just about the only thing he did do. Unfortunately he looked completely disinterested. If he had Harewood's work rate he would be playing in the Premiership. Out if interest, are you going to MK Dons, Bristol or Palace with the reight fans like me??
If we end up staying up this year it'll more than likely be down to Mellis. Open doors. Can't think of any other player in our entire squad like him. He was average Saturday though, he'll look poor sometimes when teams manage to stop him playing.
Him, Steele, and Perkins vital to us. Everyone else with exception of possibly Dawson could be replaced fairly easy.
They could replace McNulty and Done with the 2 red dummies they were using as defenders during the warm up.
No MK Dons, Bristol no because I'm on holiday. Middlesbrough, Palace, Wednesday, Forest and Hudds - yes.
Every game seems to be 'our biggest game in ages' at the minute. Tomorrow is no different. Anything but 3 points and we're ******
Stones will start. Mellis will start. Daggers will be fit. No new signings in time. Sir Bobby on bench. Will be a close game and we need to watch set pieces and not give away silly free kicks. Most of all we need to get right behind them from the first whistle and make it known we are desperate for them to do well and win the game. Millwall won't be relishing coming up north for a Tuesday night match so lets give them nothing.
