Many, many congratulations mate All the best to you, your partner and your beautiful son. <img src ="http://pastorfergus.files.wordpress.com/2011/07/its_a_boy1.gif"> From The Big Lils
Re: Many, many congratulations mate Thanks - you & Crystal might recall me (i used to go by the username Oasismad BFC)
I DO remember you, mate And so do Crystal & Laura!! Have a drink on us tonight. News simply doesn't get better than this. Once again, congratulations.
Re: I DO remember you, mate Thank you - and same to you - you & Crystal & Laura had more of an effect on me - than you will ever know. We now have another potential part time BFC fan too!
Thank you Anyway, as far as I'm concerned, someone's either a Barnsley fan, or they're not. They attend when they can or when they want to. This 'part-time' thing is for people who want to tell others how good a fan they are. It's not for me. As I see it, you and your new born son are Barnsley fans (whether you like it or not!).
Re: Thank you I agree - his leeds supporting grandfather & chelsea supporting grandmother won't agree they have been told i will burn any shirts if they attempt to force them on my son.
Re: You can take the man out of Barnsley but not Barnsley out of the man! well done you two the sleepless nights wont last too long, but its worth it.
Congratulations to you and your partner, good to hear he will get the benefit of a proper football education from his Dad.
Re: Thank you Very many congratulations - parenthood is a truly wonderful thing, so enjoy every minute: even "relish" the sleepless nights and the nappy-changing as they're not babies for very long. As for the football allegiance - I admire your intentions. For my part, it looks like I have won my daughter over to being a Barnsley fan (she was mascot at the Leeds and Doncaster games recently), but fear I may be "losing" my son to Oldham Athletic (his Dad's team). So, best of luck with that, and congrats once again.
congrats..... being a dad is life changing really...or it should be anyway in thereevs opinion.............and welcome to the wonderful world of worry!!! father of thereev said the worst age with me was 17-21 cos he did not know when or if i was coming home and what state i would be in with the booze etc. my bin lids are only young and the worry is bad enough now..... can't wait til they are 17 then!!
