I was not there and have only heard rumours about what happened. I would still, however, like to apologise to anybody affected in any way by our "fans" disgraceful behaviour. I hope that you understand that the majority of our supporters are genuine fans that enjoy watching our team play. There are a however, a handful who take it upon themselves to act in a disgraceful way, probably to “impress” their mates. I can only assume that the reason for this behaviour was the manor of your victory, which I am not in any way justifying as an excuse. I, once again, apologise for the lack of respect some of our supporters have shown and wish Barnsley the best of luck in this years campaign. Thanks, Danny.

Danny............. last season I went for 22 quid and this season wasn't willing to pay 24 quid. Last season we took 300 plus at 22 quid and this season only 180 apparently for 24 quid. It's not your manager that's got a problem, because Burley is more than capable. It's your stupid board of directors and chairman. You sell Theo, Baird, Jones and Bale for something like 30 million and just how much as the manager seen? How the hell are you suppose to be on the verge of administration? Any club losing four top players would struggle and if anything you're like Wendy darn the road.
Our board is appalling but Burley plays a big factor in the disappointment of the fans. He has his "favourites" and many more annoying habits. I also have more personal reasons for not liking Burley. Trust me, if you followed Southampton you'd soon realise what a rubbish manager he is. Yes, ticket prices need seeing to.
