    Let's hope he can replicate his Malta performance against the likes of Germany or Argentina when the time comes! As long as he has living legend players like Rooney and Sterling alongside him we'll storm the next World Cup!

    He's rubbish. Not since Carlton Palmer have we had a worse centre midfielder playing for England.

    God I miss the days of Gazza, Platt, Ince, Robson. Even the underachieving scholes and Gerrard. Can't actually believe he plays for England.
