    Diego Leòn (geb. 16.01.1984), auf Beginn der Saison 2006/07 zu GC gekommen, hat sich dem Barnsley Football Club aus der zweithöchsten englischen Spielklasse „Football League Championship“ angeschlossen. Sein bis Juni 2009 laufender Vertrag mit dem Grasshopper Club Zürich wurde im gegenseitigen Einvernehmen aufgelöst. Leòn wechselt per sofort zum englischen Traditionsverein.

    Diego Leòn (born 16.01.1984), on beginning of the season 2006/07 to GC come, has joined to the Barnsley football club from the second-highest English play class „ football league Champion-hip “. His contract running till June, 2009 with the Grasshopper club of Zurich was dissolved in the mutual agreement. Leòn changes at once to the English traditional association.

    Though we haven't signed an injury prone player for a while now, at least one that we can guarantee will miss 50/60% of the season, and cost us a bomb. C'mon Davey, sort it out</p>

    Only guessing here...

    Seems to me that since his contract with Grasshoppers has been terminated, he is a free agent.

    That means he can sign for, and play for us immediately (or as soon as all the paperwork is sorted)
