    Barnsley have slapped a £1m price tag on midfielder Anderson da Silva. (Daily Mirror)

    I'd reckon it ought to be more like £1.5m but still.

    Not like the Mirror's gospel anyway!

    Good to know we're not asking for peanuts at least. I too would want more than a million but then again us fans are always biased.

    Seems a fair price to me, push for a bit more, 1.2 maybe. With Colace and Bobby we have got enough defensive midfield cover, we need a couple who can get forward. So we might as well cash in. If we can get a couple of million from Muller and Anderson, plus a couple of million from Mr PC, we can get 4 or 5 decent quality players in, 2 CM's a LB and CB, striker, back up goalie, couple of squad players all needed.

    why Davey did not say "he's not for sale" I'll never know. Unless he is hoping that Adam and Colace will be good enough to stave off relegation. Adam maybe Colace no thanks.

    It's down to the player now...does he want to go to the "massive" Bristol City? Time for SD to convinve ADS he is a key player...but don't hold yer breaths.

    in that case someone more senior should be saying he is not for sale. Unless Simon is pinning his hopes on Colace.

    Yes but on here whatever Cryne says is just used to berate him later. Imagine if he said ADS isn't for sale then someone offers daft money and he goes ? Fcking hell, the angry people would combust.</p>

    Davey's said all players have their price and he's right. That said, we don't have to sell him unless he really wants out then there's no point keeping an unhappy player imho.
