Appealing for offside after a goal has been given?

    Anyone watching the Man U game have a view
    flag didn't go up until after the Wolfsberg players had run over and spoken to the linesman. That surely can't be right can it

    Mata was in an offside position though

    It's what there taught Farnham, Play to the whistle and complain after. The players are wrong if they do and wrong if they don't.

    The linesman signalled to the ref that he was offside instantly but needed to check with the ref to see if he was interfering with play. As soon as the ref said yes he was the linesman put his flag up. The players did run over complaining but it didn't influence anyone's decision.
