Alot has been made of the fact that we have not signed a replcaement for burns or brought any new players in.

Fans are giving him stick for been honest, it could be that the right players are not available or that he does not want to waste his budget when he has players already at the club to do a job, like Kay is doing now (have to hold my hands up on that one but he has proved me wrong)

Yes we prob do need a replacement for burns BUT Reid and Carbon are 1st choice center backs from the looks of thing yet Kay has been superb this season and can play midfield so is it fair to the lad not to show faith in him?

Bringing in players is part or the game but look at the situation at Sheff utd, Horsefield signs and is promised 1st team action yet is not getting it which is causing unrest in the ressing room! how many Sheff U fans ring praise or grumble saying they should stick with the players that got them where they are?

AR has been honest enough to say he wants to stick with the players he has got and yes Burns has played a major role this season, but we have Kay and Howard who can play there yet he comes under fire for not been ruthless! yet dave penny is and look at the situation there, falling out with players left right and center (big players as well) and will finish mid table!

ambition can be measure not just by the number of signings a club make or money they spend!!!!

Good work BFC keep it up!

If we fail to make the play off's Failure to strengthen

both in January and following Burns departure will have played an instrumental role.

very true, but who is to say that we would have made the playoffs with Burns?

    Totally Agree

2 seasons ago we signed Rocastle and Davies on loan, how much did that improve the squad?

When we won against Colchester everyone was saying "who's Burns?"

now we've had a poor run everyones missing him, but I reckon we are in poor form is because our defence have been poor.

    I think you mean Hassellbank.

He'd be ace Dirk, but we can't afford him. Don't you know anything about football?

Eh ? What ? Football ? I thought this was a site to critique Andy Ritchie's man management ?

Many on here can't wait for him to fail then it re-inforces their premature ejaculations when he was appointed.

He's back v Hudds apparently. James Hayter bruised his ribs for him.

He will also make a difference.

He is a good right back and a better midfielder.

If this lot on here are a representative sample then I'm amazed any fcuker wants to manage or play for us. Jesus truly wept. They're like spoilt little bairns.

From a non true fans point of view. Ritchie has already exceeded my expectations and BFC are in a much better position now, then I would have envisaged when he took over.

I don't think many managers out there would have done the job any better then he has with the limited resources. This 'nice guy' attitude isn't just in the dressing room and I suspect Ritchie has been asking for money constantly to build on what he's done so far, but he's not the type to come out publically and shake his fist at the board.

I think he bottles his frustrations whilst other managers (those that are generally laughed at) lose their rag and start talking *****.

That said, he should have been sacked on Saturday obviously. He's ****.

I really am struggling to see, given the context of the state of the club and the playing staff he inherited, how everyone on here was predicting mid table at best this season, just what he's done that deserves so much vitriol.

Agreed. At the start of the season i would have given my left bollock to be in the top six with 8 games left.
