    I noticed a finisher in Saturdays Barnsley parkrun came from Monifieth Triathlon Club, owt to do wi thee?

    I had a spell working around your neck of the woods in 2000 so it stands out a bit - stayed at a hotel next to the first tee at Monifieth Golf course - had a few great nights out in Broughty Ferry

    I know nothing of the race or Monifieth Triathlon Club. But maybe after tonights result I might think of giving up football and try running.

    I imagine the Hotel you stayed in was the Panmure Hotel.
