    I really dont see the big deal about them.

    In my opinion they are rather dull and dreary, but then I am an old fart :D

    Not a bad set of songs but I don't think anything stood out like View From The Afternoon did the first time I heard it.

    Yeah they went from heavier/faster songs like View From The Afternoon, I Bet That You Look Good On The Dancefloor and Brianstorm to the songs off their new album which are mid tempo and middle of the road. They started their first two albums with a number one and number two. This album they couldn't even get top ten with Crying Lightning. Past albums had fantastic album tracks like Mardy Bum and Fake Tales Of San Francisco. Once they are done releasing songs from this album nothing will be left as a sleeper song.

    As a music fan there's some albums you just don't move on from and the first album is one that i'll listen to forever, the same as i still rate & listen to U2 - Joshua Tree after all these years.
