Arctic Monkeys played a not so secret gig at Leadmill last night

my mate went, he txt me at 14:30 yesterday to say rumour was going around on myspace, but i thought "not standing round Sheff in the cold wet rain in the hope of a gig"

Anyways they did play,£5 in, he sez they played an hour of new album and a few classics,loads turned up apparantly.

 

did he say what new tunes were like? nt

My mate said

They played 9 songs out of 15 song set,and played for an hour.New songs sounded good,he said there was a few slow numbers in there,will have to hear em a few times to gauge how good they are.

Dint play Fake Tales or Mardy Bum which he was dissapointed with

Seeing as they only released their debut album last year
