I must say i have not seen them live but ive got all there stuff including early stuff off the net and some online videos on limewire. Lyrics are exceptional, the lead singer has a great way of delivering ourkind of accent and it sounds ace. Best album ive heard since Oasis i think. On the america view who cares they are a nation of whining, Over the top w@nkersand i for one dont give a **** what they think, our nation loves them. GOD BLESS THE ARCTIC MONKEYS (they sound great in my car).

    WE LOVE JAFFA

even if it's not to your taste, def maybe helped define a generation which is one reason why it is acclaimed. in my personal taste its also a brilliant rock debut album.

similarly , the arctic monkeys album is pretty important for the new generation of indie gig goers etc in england. they have got something to say and i think they put their message across pretty well.
