I would have thought..... .......that considering the cleverness of their lyrics, it's far more likely that the dumb yanks have failed to suss them.
But the yanks are hardly a barometer of musical taste are they? For every Dylan there's 500 Fifty Cents, Whitney Housten, Eminem. Need I go on? And I'm not much of a Monkeys fan but I can see why local folk like em, I'm a bit surprised by their nationwide appeal though.</p>
i would have been very surprised if the yanks understood their lyrics, mind you still they're a tame version of the macc lads
RE: From the land where every band is manufactured .... "EVERY" band manufactured? And we are the home of Pop Idol etc.
highest debut chart entry for an indie band in america ye must be ****. not best live band ive ever seen but their lyrics give anyone a run for there money. and they cant possible live up to the hype the've received, i honest dont think any band in the country could live up to it. still quality though
And Again!! Sorry to say Eastie but how can you take Americans seriously with what they think, get real anyone who invents such a stupid game as Baseball and American football can be taken seriously, and believe me having spent many a month in the states with work i have nothing but despair for there insular self right attitude. Whats the difference between a Yoghurt and a American... A YOGHURT HAS GOT CULTURE..
RE: And Again!! And yet you can't even use an apostrophe! You mean Yanks (as in plural) rather than Yank's (as in possessive, belonging to Yank!) And, oh yes that mad rant really told me! ff
RE: And Again!! ..(cryin) leave me alone what the ek's a apostrophe . .me i only understand floats, oak's ,trowels , plaster .and ....(blaze) ...to me that's enough .i'm happy ..(dancin) ...hope you're ok ..(Y) i promise i aint stalking you.????
