Because i am every season we start ****
and then bring a few players in just before the window closes then they take a few games to gel then they'll start looking a bit fitter and we'll start winning around October time

why can't we just for once bring in our signing now even the ones on loan get them in a few week early for training to gel and get fit and see if we can't get off to a good start for a change who knows what could happen if we hit the ground running

 

Calm down a bit, how can we sign a player when the manager aint even back yet. Give em a chance ffs.

Because H.T. thats the way it is. Davey appears not to work in tandem with the rest of the human race. He first wants to take stock of what we've got, assess their capabilities, inspite of having signed then a couple of seasons ago, and to establish if the team needs strengthening in. Under normal circumstances this approach would be professionally and socially acceptable behaviour, but, guess what, this pillock is not normal.

 

Hint back yet where the fack his he ? surely he should sort his business out first then fack off on holiday

 

How do know hw isn't sorting his "business" out whilst he's away?. We can only speculate about what's happening behind the scenes, he deserves a break just like the rest of us. I'm confident new players will be here before the big kick off.

 

things need to be done different from last season get the new players in now get them in two week early for training take them on holiday to spain for a bonding holiday and a few friendlys and when they get back stright down to business

I am sure he already has his targets identified.

Maybe its linked to how many season tickets we sell, which then isn't his fault, its the clubs for not starting ST sales earlier (eg norwich)

The fact he has gone on holiday will not stop initial contacts/negotiations etc

but then, he isn't allowed a holiday and should continue to work and he would be hung drawn and quartered if he went on holiday during the season.

how do we know the club isn't doing anything

I don't like Davey and wanted him sacked at the end of last season but it is clear he is going to stay in charge so may as well get behind him for the time being! You go on about signings but what is the point in rushing and signing *****. Ok Wendys have made a couple of signings but they arent exactly box office and i wouldnt have signed Purse or Miller tbh. As the others have said work will probably be going on behind the scenes, so yes its' frustrating but lets just wait and see.

 

As far as I am aware he is still in Florida taking care of a business interest he has there. Been there for a couple of weeks but due back later this week. I imagine he doubled this trip up with a family holiday.

 

Rushing in

ive know all season we need a center half 2 strikers and a replacement for howard at least
why ant he been looking all last season and then signed the players he wants the day after the plymouth game

then go on holiday knowing his work is done and all thats left to do his get them fit for the start of the season

Well maybe thats becase the transfer window isnt open yet, i mean thats a hard one to work out! Also how do you know we haven't agreed terms withn any out of contract players and just not announced them!
