Lost McCormack to injury tonight and maybe for the season so that would be a loss but yes, clearly we are that good - brilliant defense, hard working and skillful midfield, excellent forwards and great squad. They give 100% every game and never do less than get stick in - not southern softies. Three more wins for us means Sunderland or Portsmouth need at least another 18 points. Nearly there for us - can't see us not making it now, tonight was hug. Can't see you not making it, Sunderland are just hanging in and them and Portsmouth have paint pot consolation prize and play-offs to fight over. Amazing we are now 24 points ahead of the play-off line

I geinuinly hope it’s us and them who gain automatic and the quicker we can both get over the line the better, I think Sunderland will drop away after seeing them tonight.

I’ll take second right now but once we’re both confirmed (hopefully sooner rather than later) the race for the title is gonna be interesting.

I’m not meaning to go all ‘Wednesday’ But I think it’ll be more of Sunderland dropping a few points rather than us winning every week which will get us promoted.

I’d rather be us in the Championship than them.

We’ve been waiting for your bad run to come.

    It just hasn’t.

Fair play to you, fantastic run you are on and it doesn’t look like stopping.

We might lose one or two but not enough to matter now - thank's, it's been amazing

To be honest, this league is pretty horrible. Luton, us and probably Sunderland and Portsmouth are good sides, the rest are just a load of dross. It will be a case now of who holds their nerve between us and the Mackems. Luton are as good as up and fair play to them.

I just don’t want to finish 1st. 2nd is fine by me.

Too many times the team who came 1st, are the first team to come back down. Don’t know why, just are.

Watched em v pompy and they made them look very ordinary.
They are the one team i would be concerned with if we met them in the plsy offs.

The top sides are much of a muchness and the rest are there to throw a spanner in the works.

Out of our 5 defeats, 2 came at Shrewsbury and Wycombe, who are both poor sides in the grand scheme of things, but you have to be on your game against everyone in this league or you can come unstuck very easily.

Coventry, Blackpool and Donny aren't exactly gimme's. Based on our performance against Donny at home I can see Friday being a sterner test than Sunderland. Donny have to come at us.

Think same can be said of both teams - best 2 in the league and both deserve to be where they are

It's a shame that this season will be regarded as failure if we **** it up now.

Why would we? Look strong at the moment and difficult to beat - best 2 are at the top and for the reasons the poster highlighted

It's in our hands now again. If you offered me that with 9 games to go I'd have taken it. We are at typing statistically the second best team in the division so the poster is correct. There are other factors that creep in.

There is the Burton, Shrewsbury, Wycombe factor. Teams have proved this season if they out muscle us and stop us playing we can't break them down.

But we have broken most teams down this year that's why we are second. We can't beat everybody but we've had a damn good try.

Add other factors in like Sunderland have found it even harder to break teams down than we have. I'm more than happy where are - I really thought we'd struggle this year after last and with an inexperienced coach.
