It's a pity that Ennis hasn't anything better to do.

Mind, needs to find summat to justify his exhorbitant salry and benefits

Not disagreeing with you, Dirk, but, looking at the area his constituency covers, Barnsley East & Mexborough, would the Mexborough bit, give you a clue as to why ?

This is why policians are elected to Parliament, to waste time on stuff like this.

    Burn the lot of them.

Mexborough's full of Leeds and Wednesday fans

The odd Barnsley and Rotherham supporter. Nobody's bothered about Donny Rovers. think he's cosying up to John Ryan meesen like.

    Got to admit ......

....... there's a few Wednesday fans in That area, The Gate at Swinton is full of 'em, most lived down Mexborough, but, I was unfortunate to have worked with some Donny fans from Mexborough.

Agree though, politicians do have a habit of jumping on the bandwagon, anything to put 'em in the news and improve their social standing (John Ryan? .... maybe!).

Swinton on a Sunday night used to be like a Wednesday fan club meeting.

Then Leeds when they won the League.

    Then back to Wednesday.

I think a maximum of two terms in parliament and then fout to five years back in the big hard world for them. No politicians should be permitted in parliament until the've done 10 years work from leaving uni, and being a researcher/professional student like Gordon Brown is not permitted.

    Which Barnsley MPs?

Apart from Ennis, who's constituency covers part of Doncaster, the only other two MPs representing Barnsley are EricIllsley and Michael Clapham, neither of whom are listed.

I'll be on a bob or two, also Jeff Ennis is a massive Barnsley supporter, see him regular at Oakwell.

You mean like the play off final last year?

Surely for a team in League 1, winning promotion is more important, and a bigger achievement, than winning the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

And they were praising them for winning their first national trophy, something we've already done
