    Three stages I think.

    Basically the Academy/U23's last week. Returning loanees this week and some fringe players (similarly to you, no idea how that was worked out), and then all the first team back on 20th June for the official start of pre-season.

    I did - I put a post out on a Barnsley football club message board, asking the question, which was answered in 4 minutes.

    your original post suggested I contact the club. I don’t have their email address. I could ring them I suppose but I doubt that would be a great use of their employees’ time:-

    ‘Hi it’s chef tyke. Can you put me through to whoever is in charge and took training this morning please. I need to know why Josh Benson and Romal Palmer aren’t there’

    Saw a picture on Twitter of Herbie Kane, Jordan Williams and Brad Collins. Kane a returnee, Williams probably wanting to recover from his injury. Surprised to see Collins.

    Hopefully when there’s more back next week we have a head coach in place.

    How do you know all this stuff? I'm beginning to suspect that you're not what you seem. Surely no normal person could keep abreast of all this stuff, find time to post it on here, and hold down a day job. Not to mention having a life of some kind. And sleeping... When do you find time to sleep FFS? It's not natural.

    Doug O’Kane shared the majority of it. Plus the video the club posted earlier explained which players were coming back, at what times, and why.

    I really don’t sleep though. Still trying to figure that part of life out.
