    Helping out with a balloon release in aid of the South Yorkshire Community Foundation. As usual with anything like this, you get some takers & even more who aren't interested, which is fair enough.

    What I wasn't prepared for was some self-styled eco warrior saying that balloon releases are wrong & shouldn't be done because the balloons were bursting over the sea & turtles were eating the balloons & dying.

    I was so sure that we didn't have any turtles around our coast that I almost rose to the bait. Fortunately I didn't.

    Mind you, I'm seriously considering going to the release next week dressed as a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle! :D
