Ok pop pickers lol, we're almost into the Halloween month of October, and some people are already talking abaart flipping Christmas, in the media and on the radio aren't they!.
So when do we all think is the right time, to bring this horrible subject up ehh ?.
Id say it should be mid or late November, at the earliest, maybe!. :D

And sadly, almost all of the 80s Top of the pops 'Christmas day' vids, aren't available to watch now (on here). It's like they are dirty top shelf material these days isn't it!. :D
So ok then here's 1973, with Tony Blackburn Rovers & Noel Edmonds, & co lol.

The most wonderful time of the year. I love Xmas. I normally start shopping for pressies in October, get it done early.

I don't think it should actually start taking over TV etc though until December.

I look forward to Crimbo. There's just summat ace about it... a feel good vibe etc.
Pretty much sorted out the bulk of pressies the past two weeks.
Late November is about right for shops to stick up the trimmings methinks.

Christmas should only be mentioned at all, anywhere between 20th December and 21:00 25th December.

I know people who put their tree up in November- that’s just wrong.

Smooth Christmas and Heart Christmas radio stations have started back up.

Home Bargains is full of tinsel and wrapping paper.

Morrisons has out the advent calendars.

The older I get the more I enjoy the run up to Christmas. It's autumn now, imo mention of Christmas can be made. However, too early for me to start Christmas shopping

Probably need to start talking about January cos that’s probably when we will end being able to get a left footed wing back.

I spend much of my time nowadays in the Philippines. Christmas started here at the beginning of September (they call them the 'Ber months) - pretty weird really to have Christmas music playing in all the shops and the big Xmas trees are just going up in the streets and mall where I live

Early. Get away. January sales. :) I'd say we have got it over and done with more or less by the end of that month. Then pick up bits when we see em.
    Get em to Santa asap.

I've done that before, bought a couple of things in January sales. Put em away, totally forgot about them, found them in the back of the wardrobe after Christmas!!
