I know I may sound like a Wednesday fan but should we really be fearing any of these? Why would any of em have a bigger budget than us?
I haven't even included Bradford, Chesterfield, Donny & Peterborough in that list.

As it stands I'd say a definite yes. We barely have any senior professionals. Most of our team have played less than 50 professional games. Of the players that remain M'Voto has scored more goals than the forwards on the books. The messages coming out of the club at the end of last season were that we would have a bottom 8 budget. This looks to be the case.

Just taking one club out of your list. There's been no fire sale at Yeovil. I'd expect them to be near the top of the table.

Things can change in football and rapidly but they need to do so otherwise yes we are relegation fodder.

Today is a point in time. We won't go into our 1st game with the squad as it stands, and the transfer window doesn't shut til end if August.

Impossible currently to say how we'll do because there are more players to come in.

Totally agree, I think any team that finishes above them, will have a very good season indeed

Thought that was just hearsay on the BBS. I fail to see why we would have a lower budget than any on the list above. We're slow off the mark in the transfer market but I've not really heard of any League 1 clubs buying players apart from us. Leyton Orient haven't bought a player for 4 years but look where they finished last season.

orient haven't ditched their whole team though so don't need to and have a defined long term strategy. I also fail to see why we can't be competitive but we would appear we are gearing up for a relegation struggle than a tilt at the top. I'd say we are the least prepared team in the football league with possibly the exception of Blackpool. All the teams in your list have fairly settled teams who have had a couple of years to gel. At the minute we are down to playing the under 12s.

Things can change and I hope they do. I have faith in Danny. But I think based on our current team you would expect us to get relegated and we can only judge on that not who we may or may not sign.

As it stands, nailed on bottom of the league. We haven't any players. But the season doesn't kick off tomorrow, it's three weeks away. Ask us again then.

Yeovil have let more than they have recruited we have let 17 more than we have recruited not exactly comparable. You would expect a relegated club to release a few players gave Donny have 5 first choice and the rest bit players it seems different to what we are doing which us pretty much a fire sale.

It is comparable though because our squad was so bloody huge last season!

We must have finished the season with about 18 midfielders.

We're not on our own at being slow to sign players. The transfer market hasn't even kicked off yet. Top your glass up to half full for a week :)

I cant ever remember feeling so deflated before a season, players gone, squad completely blown apart,we havnt even got a spine to build from.I'm not sure how you can start completely from scratch even in the third division,i just hope the powers that be know what they are on with.

And now we have no goalie, no right back, Kennedy at left back one central midfielder one winger and 2 young lads up front. I was looking forward to this season after the boredom of relegation struggles but at the time I wasn't contemplating another one. At the minute we don't even have a glass.
