............play teams off the pitch..........can't score........... lose Its increasingly looking like that Against Ipswich, Peterboro and Leeds we must have averaged about 2/3rds of possession..........and got just 1 point from a possible 9. Whats the point of tip tappy football all over the field if we have only one player (Davies) that can put his foot through the ball and score ???
Not heard of building a team then? a few months ago we struggled to bring in players ( and in general really), we have gradually progressed into a decent outfit that is building a name for playing good football. We are therefore a lot better bet for a prem club to loan a decent up and coming striker to to get experience or if the money is available to attract somebody who fancies himself to get a few goals. Beggars belief really if we try to play it tight and try to nick a goal fowk moan ( actally I might :0) ), if we play good attractive football fowk still moan. I know which I would rather pay to watch and which one will eventually pay dividends.
Not moaning..........but what i am sayting is this.......there needs to be a final product to all this good football Its no good saying - we played them off the park........but we lost
And summert else.........its no good Keeefflicker and the fans blaming the referee....you lose some and you win some with referees. Throughout a season it usually balances out. With all accounts if the referee had given Leeds two penalties we still should have won this game. My advice would be to do what Bobby Charlton used to do in training.........get a big breeze block wall built at the traning ground and mark on it the outline of the goal ..............then get the players blasting at the goal from all angles It worked for Bobby
