It's not some trivial little issue you know. It's you preventing freedom of speech that is in no way inflammatory just because you're uncomfortable that one of your friends is a paedophile. If the person I was referring to was unknown to you and I'd got the story from a national news site and I suggested that a convicted paedophile gave the money from a competition win to charity then you wouldn't even blink.
