Are you really that thick?

Surely you realized we weren't going to go through the whole season without going through a little bad patch. You can't expect a great performance from us every match, remember, if they were good enough to play well every game, they wouldn't be at Barnsley. Just think back to last year, we were deep in a relegation, this year we're not (yet) and to be honest, I doubt we will be. We need approximately 16 points from our last 19 games. That's 5 wins and a draw. 1 win in 4, I will be extremely surprised if we are in a relegation battle in the last 5 games, so why don't you get behind the team for how far they have come, rather than get on their back at every moment.

We are 15th for Christ sake, 7points from play offs, 7 points from relegation. So why all this need for talk of relegation, mid-table is fine, Davey has done great, so why can't you appreciate this?

I think you'll find that for the front two pairing (the thing that most people are concerned about) the bad patch started on the first day of the season

 

Agree With You Completely

If our results were reversed and we'd had this winless run at the start of the season then people would have been happy to be 15th today. Because we started so well it appears that we should be in the play-offs at the end of the season.

Our aim this season was to finish higher than 21st, and I believe that we will do this. Therefore even 20th place would be a good season, so 15th could be seen as exellent.

I do agree though that our winless run needs to come to an end sooner rather than later, as every season one team drops like a stone, with like Luton last year.
