Anyone recommend an ariel man. Need a couple of ariel points in the kids bedrooms and one in a conservatory. Would we need a digital ariel for freeview. or would we be able to use the one we use at the moment for analog TV. TIA
The same aerial will work for receiving digital... ...unless your signal is particularly weak in which case you might need to upgrade. You might need to upgrade or use a signal booster to power the extra points come to that. The aerial man will sooart thi art.
RE: can anyone recommend an ariel man... Used Aerial and Satellite Centre on Sheffield Road, realigned my Sky dish and he spotted that the waterproof casing was missing and fitted it for free. Also used them when I'd lost half the channels on Sky and got it working but said I probably needed a new polarity switching unit in box (what prompted me to just get Sky+ fitted as would have cost me about £70 just to get a new box), only charged me the call out fee!
Actually on the subject of washing powders, does anybody remember when.... .... they used to (alledgedly) call round your house and give you a fiver if you had a packet of Daz or Tide or Surf and some such? Must have been one of the first tele adverts on.
