I think he'll be Stones' replacement

Whether he can do the job remains to be seen.

Thoroughly weakened in that position for the rest of the season then.

New position, new year, New manager, new leaf and all that. Let's hope he can show the improvement others have under Flicker

He couldnt wait to get off the pitch against Hull

absolutely awful in everything he did or didnt, Stones came on and the game turned in our favour.

If Wiseman plays more than 3 games between now and the end of the season we are going down.

If he's played in his proper position he might actually do well.

    Who knows.

    Could do a Daggers.

His best game was wide right against Leeds last season IMHO

    Can we afford that risk...

and undo all the good work that's been done since the new year. Lest we forget about Wiseman's poor reading of the game, his poor positional sense and his constant switching off that has cost us dearly this season. His strength of character or rather lack of it would be in stark contrast to his team-mates. We simply cannot afford to carry anyone let alone someone who looks sorry for himself at the first sign of things going wrong.

Love for him to have a great season from now if he plays, but I'm afraid I have grave doubts.

IMHO Wisemen is a poor mans glen Johnson, decent attacking wing back at this level... But certainly not up to playing centre half.

I think he could thrive playing right wing back. Less pressure on him to defend. Look forward to seeing him play to his strengths rather than played out of position, which ruined his confidence...

Come on Scotty let's see what you got.

I suppose a bit of blind hope is the order of the day

    seems the "board" think so.

I'll not hold my breath though.

I actually think he should be given a few games in the position which is made for him.

Fans shouldn't hold it against him for being a crap center back, he didn't pick himself

I'm quite concerned about this now. Maybe we'll get someone in on loan, but I think we'll lose the balance we had with Golbourne and Stones and it could really hamper our chances of staying up

I think there are some sort of blinkers on some people with Wiseman. Not only was he a terrible centre back he was utterly garbage on countless occasions at fullback and when played right midfield drifts inside and gets lost. He was dire at Donny away last year playing in midfield.

The sooner we face he isn't good enough at this level the better it will be for everyone.

Sadly, I agree with this post. I have seen nothing from Wiseman choose where he has played, that gives me any cause to be at least slightly optimistic. I hope and pray, but that's about it.
