Chesterfield left winger / striker and Albanian international. Rumoured to be interested him along with a whole host of other clubs. Nothing to suggest it's anything more than a rumour. But if it is true, I wonder if we'd sell DKD if anyone is nuts enough to pay top whack for him, put Dobra on the left and have Phillips in the middle but deeper behind McGoldrick. It's certainly a more natural position for Phillips than DKD. Assuming it's bobbins though until proven otherwise.

No disrespect but why do you say a club would be nuts to pay top whack for DKD.We bought him he's improved and if 5 million is the going rate thats what we should hold out for.
I think he's a superb player at this level and we have indeed improved him. But he's already in his peak years and has only really shone for one season above 4th tier level. Don't get me wrong, we should be holding out for top whack. We got an absolute bargain at £700k or whatever. But £5 million is a proper whack for a (very good) lower division footballer.
I think another winger coming in would give us the chance to rest McGoldrick putting DKD back up top, although having said that yesterday was that chance to play cleary with DKD through the middle but then you lose the power and hold up play of McGoldrick. Personally like to see Phillips drop back into midfield and play DKD Central behind McGoldrick.
