No idea. Definitely not at work, though. Honest.

    Arthur Holland?

Used to be caretaker of Farm Road playing fields at Kendray. Highly respected guy. Everything went downhill when he left.

    RE: Arthur Holland?

Refereed in the 1962 World Cup in Chile. Took the 1964 FA Cup Final between West Ham and Preston and the Champions Cup Final at Wembley between AC Milan and Benfica.

When I was 16 I played for the YMCA youth team, and we played at Farm Road. Sunday afternoon the ref didn't turn up, so Arthur volunteered to ref. I didn't know him from Adam then, so when he turned out in full refs kit with the FIFA badge I was gobsmacked!

    Great character.

Wasn't he a referee on 'Jeux sans frontiere' in the 70s with Stuart Hall and Eddie Waring?
