On the letters page. A sad story of a transgender being abused/belittled by Barnsley fans in Hitchin. going round the pubs selling a newsletter. Prior to the postponed Stevenage game. (He/she does admit it's not a barnsley phenomenon) What a sad indictment. They should give their heads a wobble. Why can't folk just be nice to one another.
Bit late with that story Hooky read it last Friday,does not sound if there was any bother just felt uncomfortable walking around.
Transgender or cross dresser? Didn't he say he only dresses up as a woman on one day a week? I wonder if he writes to every local newspaper after the football fans have been in town. Something didn't sit right with me when I read the letter.
Sorry mate only got round to reading it this morning. I wasnt aware it had been discussed, I must have missed it. Abused maybe ott on my part, but definitely belittled (snigerring etc) I'd have posted a link if I knew how. It wasn't a good read. He wrote a good letter without slagging anyone off. Just how he felt with the atmosphere created. And disrespectful attitudes.
