Seen as he wont be chairman anymore he'll probably not be going to so many away games so he'll have to listen to barnsley world due to his ensuring that there is no freely available commentary for away games on the radio.

But fair I can imagine him having to listen to us on it and wondering to himself 'why the hell didn't I upgrade the equipment when I was in charge'
Hee hee, he might get back to Radio Sheffield or give poor old Matt Bailey some money to invest in new equipment.
Thats not fair - he will miss half a dozen commentaries a season well not quite true - the Away one usually works - cant remember a game when neither commentary worked
RE: Thats not fair - he will miss half a dozen commentaries a season Somebody tried to sabotage us again last night. I'm gonna start going round other broadcasters before kick off and kicking plugs out of sockets and pulling leads out of ISDN machines, I think. Then I might just be able to relax and concentrate on commentating for a change, while everyone else is running around like the proverbial blue backsided fly!
RE: Thats not fair - he will miss half a dozen commentaries a season This is the thing, it would be lovely to concentrate on commentating rather than whether the damn thing's actually on!
Seems to happen alot and yet you keep coming up with the same excuses over and over, how come other sides dont have the same issues?
I can appreciate your thoughts, nevertheless........... I think that you do a great job and it is much appreciated. I was let down with a coach ticket at Preston having booked my seat with the Hoyland Reds before Wembley and my holiday so that I was ensured a seat.and rwas really gutted to be hen denied a place. I have 'Barnsly World' so that is whereI went. I really enjoyed listening to the secind half, by the time I had sorted the second half! Seriously, not being funny. I do honestly think they Y - you Matt and Andy are doing a great job with1575. It isa very llistenable to, station, especially, on a Saturday! I truly enjoy hearing your broadcasts, but there are things to be sorted out, no doubt.
