Im a bit miffed that we have only received 4000 tickets for The Farm. These are bound to be snapped up in no time. I went to the league fixture at their gaff- that should count for somthing! We have given them 7000 tickets for the game at the fortress!!
thing is mate a lot of people who are non ST holders might have gone to that game but might have trouble proving it if they didnt retain their ticket stubs
How does this work Huddersfield - Capacity 24500 - give to away fans 4000 (17%) Barnsley - Capacity 23000* - give to away fans 6000 (26%) *23000 assumes all west stand in use if only 3/5ths are availlable capacity more like 21000 giving avay fans 29% of the total
My fear exactly! It's unfair and gives them the advantage in terms of support. Do we only care about making money at Oakwell, what about winning!!!
It's simple segregation Makes sense for both to give a full stand, just hope we don't give them half of another stand.
There is is no way we could get anymore from them as there isn't anywhere to put the fans.
Also we are just giving them the away end we have built. If our away end held 2,000 then they would be getting 2,000.

how can they ? if tickets are on sale from tuesday morning to non season ticket holders how can those with season tickets snap them up first? i cant get until after work on tuesday by then most tickets for the away leg could have gone.
RE: how can they ? Because only ST sales are in the box office (non-ST sales at turnstyles) and they'll have the away tickets in the Box Office so can check ST books. Given the intelligence of some fans I've encountered in the ticket office though I'm expecting to be in a long queue with many people complaining as they are turned away as they don't have a season ticket!
RE: how can they ? so a non st holder who wants to get in early for a home tie ticket will have to go back later for a away ticket?
RE: how can they ? so what your saying is any non ST who goes for his ticket as soon as gates open on tuesday will not be able to buy an away ticket. this is unfair i am a season ticket holder but have only been to half a dozen away games this season, some people travel to all away games and could miss out for me. i can see why we get priority for home games but not away ones.
RE: It's simple segregation They could have course use the curtain down the middle hence providing more tickets for Barnsley and fewer for huddersfield. Town do tend to be quite loud away from what my mates say so I'd restrict them to the same number they give us
RE: how can they ? im not moaning its tough **** for em, we put money up front even before we knew we were going to have a good season. i used to do this even when i was out of work and couldnt really afford it,i had to manage without anything else as long as i got my season ticket. which i have had for about 11 years (since east stand opened)
