Cos it looks cool. Not that I do mind.

 

Just to piss off non smokers.

 

Cos I wanted to be hard like Joe Frazier.

 

Can only be because they want to look at least 10 years older than they are, want to take 10 years off their life, and spend a tenth of their income on doing it to boot. When you need that ***, who cares about that negative stuff though???

 

I can only suggest because they've been on fire. Am I right?

 

it is very old fashioned now.

if you think bout what people are actually doing its just odd. cant believe it ever took off. I think doing something rebellious against the law like smoking when you are underaged is what gets most people hooked.

 

You could say the same about drinking , we all know it's bad for your body but we choose to do it. And to feel crap day after

I started smoking because when I was 11 I thought it was cool. And anything I wasn't supposed to do I did.

I no longer think it's cool, but I continue to smoke because I am addicted to nicotine. I also enjoy smoking but that's not why I do it. I do it because when I don't smoke I feel like ****. I've tried to stop smoking a number of times. Last year I managed 4 months. Every second of ever of every minute of every hour of every day of that 4 months I felt horrendous. Eventually I got tired of feeling like that, of not enjoying anything at all, so I thought I could either jump off something really high or have a cigarette. Jumping off something high seemed a bit drastic when I knew I could feel a hell of a lot better if I just had a cig. By the end of that day I no longer wanted to murder everyone I saw, I could sit still for more than five minutes and I watched Have I Got News For You which made me laugh. That's why I smoke. I'll try to stop again, but if it makes me feel like it did last time again, I'll fail again.

Smoking will kill me. I know it. But not as quickly as if I don't smoke.

I agree mate

But we all do stuff that we know isn't doing us very much good.

I.e how many people will have woke up this morning 100 pound down and feeling shocking because of drinking . You have to remember smoking in many cases is an addiction I am sure if people could stop they would . Same as alcoholics and drug addictions .

So why you think 2 hours isn't very long to refrain from smoking to an addict 2 hours is far too long .

Genuine question mate, do you enjoy a cig and quite happy carrying on or would you like to stop?,

 

Through the week I never touch s cig doesn't bother me one bit.

Soon as I have a drink I smoke very heavy

Sad I know but it's the truth

My mates always say why not stop all together but it's like an addiction when I'm drinking .

I have no problem with people smoking, it's your life and your decision, however i do have a problem with smokers breaking the law and smoking in confined spaces such as public toilets, where you're not allowed to anyway regardless of what bent stewards and coppers tell you.

 

Yeah I know folk that only enjoy a cig when they've had a beer or a meal,

 

Your right but it's not going to stop people doing so .

Like I sad yesterday it's pointless moaning about it because it won't change . Like swearing at football and persistent standing .

Agree to all of this. I try to be considerate to non smokers tho, and wouldn't smoke in a public toilet .

 

Cos they enjoy the fresh air they get
