Please advise as to why our most threatening player down the wing - Harris - was taken off to allow a big centre forward type to come on. When Hourihane had been crap, was on a booking and started letting any attacks through willy nilly for fear of being sent off, and where Winnall and Watkins had been gobbo all game long and needed replacing. And where a cross or two might have helped our sub, who ended up having to put in better crosses in 10 mins himself than we'd had all match?
I was just scribbling down, and am now posting what I overheard you say. There could be copyright problems here.
It's what he does every game, realise his one up front is not working so switches to two up front at the arse end of the game and take off his most effective midfielder.
My problem with LJ is his arrogance or ignorance in not changing a formation and line up that is obviously not working consistently and what is not working in this league. Has he not had any of the other teams watched? Losing the balance of the team with the wrong substitutions, taking the wrong players off is baffling. He needs to give his head a good shake because with the players we have the solution is in front of him. Play the right players in the formation to suit the league and teams we are playing against. It's not the same every game, slight changes for some games ie blunts different to Crewe. All of which should be covered in training so not difficult to adapt. Sent from my Hudl HT7S3 using Tapatalk
