We’ve come off the back of four away games on the bounce, and two in a row against top six teams. We are still two points above the relegation zone with a game in hand on two of them. We have three home games in a row to follow. All of which easier on paper - we may win a couple of those. We may not, but all is far from lost.
It's not as bad a it seems a poor first half against a quality Middlesborough side is not the end of the world and is part expected following the last 12 months we've had and all the changes we have been through. I'm positive and excited about the next 3 tough home games and think we'll come out of it with 5 points and with that we'll be in with a shout but it will go down to the end. I think we'll see Davies back, Mallan starting, Lyndsay and Williams may get a rest, Moore and Thiam will score a few, Yids needs to play left back again for me and I want hammil back in the squad.
I said the same to my dad at full time. I can't believe we've played four aways in a row and are still 4th bottom. It's losing at home to Burton and Hull which may ultimately prove costly, not losing away to Cardiff and Middlesbrough.
What worries me is does he know the best starting 11 to give it our best shot?? I'm not convinced and I'm disappointed that the man who says we should believe doesn't seem to be able to instill that belief in the players. Today has really disappointed me as we seemed to throw in the towel as soon as the match started. Boro were good but we were abysmal. It was painful to watch.
