    At this level anyway.

Professional to the point of being absolute arse holes. Could've scored more. Didn't give them a sniff beyond a mistake.

Bland is a £5m sale in the next two years. Connell back to his best. Earl his best game for us. And lovely to see DKD get a couple too.

    Conor's European Tour 2028. Reds.

Some of those last ditch tackles made by Shepherd were outstanding. My motm personally. Everyone wants the ball, no one hides.
The way we play, mistakes will be, and are, made. But I'd rather have that, than borefest 1 step forward 2 steps back. We tend to leave ourselves open for the counter attack. (Teams are aware) and that wants ironing out. Else we have the makings of a side exciting to watch. And are already, Which can only get even better.

Connell had a great game - still has that recklessl challenge in him like we saw today. Made up for him though

If you mean when he got booked there was absolutely nothing reckless about it. Fully in control of what he was doing, great decision making.

I would have Connell motm but who am I say. Like rest of your post tho mate. We are a good watch and
Agree he had great game, but was surprised he wasn’t subbed considering how much quality we had in midfield subs, all turned out well though.

Just hope Conor can get the two players he wants in the next 48 hrs , now is the time to kick on and turn this good start into a great season.

What did piss me off was we didn't pepper the worst keeper I can remember Nicholls seconds after coming on and instead left that situation to happen.

Brilliant performance and game management today but there was plenty of very good / professional performances under Duff at this level.

Yes, he'd messed up with the free kick so took one for the team.

For some perspective, I wonder what the non-renewers are thinking right now?

Have to admit it was a toss up mate between Shepherd and Connell (who was at his best and dictated midfield) I just thought Shepherd made some stunning tackles and came away with the ball not fouling when we were put in danger.
I noticed Kane stuck to 2/3 yard passes. And not any longer ball screw ups that he invariably did when with us. I never got the adoration he got on here from some. CACK. :)

Took him out from in view and was unnecessary- he's done that a few times. Bolton this year and last year springs to mind Reckless doesn't have to be dangerous can be not called for as he just wants to take out the player

As much as I’ve enjoyed a game in ages, brilliant win. Conor has turned us around big style. Let’s hope the window sees us get the couple of players we need and keep our big players. COYR

Im not sure what it is you think he could or should have done. The player was away after an awful ball from Phillips, it looked a very dangerous break and so Connell just tripped him. Everyday yellow, great decision.

It was on half way line - trouble with those is they accumulate and he's got to be careful for the rest of the game - unnecessary in my eyes. He needs to cut them out

Yes he had a good game connell. He misplaced a pass that put us in abit of trouble 1st half and that free kick after the mcgoldrick foul I forgot how bad that was but like you say took one for team. The Huddersfield players surrounded the ref asif it should have been a red. No chance.
