<font size="3">"FA Challenge Cup RULE 15 (PROVISIONS CONCERNING PLAYERS) (j) Temporary (loan) Transfers (i) A player on a temporary (loan) transfer is ineligible to compete in the Challenge Cup Competition unless permission to do so is given by the lending Club in writing and a copy is received by The Association by 12 noon on the Friday prior to the date fixed for playing the Round.Any permissions must clearly state that the player has approval to play in the Challenge Cup Competition."</font></p> <font size="3">this implies he would have needed to sign by noon last Friday-unless the "date fixed" is the Saturday in which case today noon would be OK-clear as mud</font></p>
Why would they not? They're out of the FA Cup and couldn't recall him anyway even if they were still in it.
Well... I can't see why moving the game forward a few hours means you have to get an extra week's approval! Clearly means the day before a 3pm KO on the Saturday.
as i read it he can it says the date fixed for the round, which would be tommorrow so by that logic we meet the rules, im sure qpr dont care as they are out of the cup and he is here until the end of the season
perhaps 12 noon today being several hours before the kick off might do depends just how pedantic the FA are, and we allknow just how un-beaurocratic they are don't we.
