Williamson off for dissent. The replay of the Burton one was too quick, but I saw nothing to change my mind that he dived.
there 2nd sending off was a yellow, he took shuker down, and he didnt slip like the rotherham fans were sayin he did
Burton still looked dodgy to me... you can usually tell from players reactions, and no Barnsley players, including Watt, seemed to give the 'dive' gesture to the referee.
I'll go with Williamson though. Deffo seemed to be for throwing a paddy...

RE: Burton still looked dodgy to me... I trust my initial instincts on the Burton one, I was 100% certain immediately that he had cheated, and I had a perfect view of it.
The ref had let burton off twice in the 1st half following his earlier booking. He was very lucky to be on the field for start of the 2nd half. Dont think the ref was going to tolerate another false move by the guy. Could have been contact but his dive was spectacularly theatrical to say the least. Last straw for ref.
I wasn't arguing over whether he dived or not Just that it wasn't obvious to a lot of us. Didn't think it was obvious on the replay either, but it looked more of a dive than the angle I saw it from. He certainly went down easy enough As for our goal, those in line with the goal line said the ball definitely crossed the line, but the TV replay wasn't conclusive like Ritchie claimed it to be. Maybe he saw it from a different camera angle.
RE: I wasn't arguing over whether he dived or not It was obvious very early in the game that it would not end with all the players on the pitch. Therefore if you are on one booking already you have to behave. I think that the scrapheapers didn't grasp this concept.
Didn't see Calendar So I've not seen any of the replays. However, from where I was sat in the Ponty, I was in direct line with the Burton incident. Although it was down the other end, by virtue of where the other players were stood, I had a clear line of sight of the incident from a "front on", or perhaps "rear on" depending on your point of view, perspective. I can say that from the evidence of my own eyes, there was daylight between Burton & Watt when Burton went down as though he'd been shot. Got no more than he deserved anyway as, for my money, his foul on Reid in the first 5 minutes was worthy of a straight red in itself.
I agree that the challenge on Reid was terrible The kind of challenge that can seriously injure a player. If he'd got a red for that he could have no complaints. However, I think that was the only bad foul in foul in the game yet the ref dished out about another dozen yellow cards. Although one was for diving and a few others for chelping.
RE: I agree that the challenge on Reid was terrible I agree he was pretty useless Jay... having said that another couple of the bookings were for persistent fouling. For example, the foul Richards was booked for was nothing but he'd made a couple of needless challenges before and probably deserved it. Looking back, I don't think he was quite as bad as I thought at the time. Both red cards were deserved, as was Murdock's after the game and Harford's. He gets some cred for booking players for dissent too... I wish more refs did. Having said that, he ruined the game by blowing up for a series of fouls which were not worthy of a free-kick, and a couple of the bookings were totally needless.
