    Doncaster announce stadium deal
Doncaster's new £32million home will be known as the Keepmoat Stadium.

The club have signed a long-term sponsorship deal with Keepmoat plc which provides the UK's leading regeneration and social housing specialist with naming rights.

Rovers are scheduled to play their first game at their new 15,000 all-seater home on New Year's Day when they entertain Huddersfield.

Keepmoat chief executive David Blunt said: "This new stadium and all its facilities are going to be a wonderful addition to the town and we were delighted to become involved.

"At Keepmoat our business is about regenerating and supporting communities and we believe that by being involved with this development, we can help make a difference to Doncaster."

Stadium Management Company commercial director Jeremy Milnes added: "Having a company of Keepmoat's reputation and calibre involved with the stadium is a major coup for Doncaster and reflects both the quality of this development and the outstanding facilities we have to offer."

    Am I missing summat??

Why's that a piss-take? Company wants to invest and get some publicity. Only one step on from the Ora Stand, Van Damme (or whatever it was) Stand etc. I'm guessing, but I doubt GS would turn down the readies if some firm came in wanting the stadium name to change. It's easy money if you're moving ground as there's no emotional barriers involved.</p>
