Can never remember the start of a world cup where I've watched the first 20 minutes.......then lost interest

Commentators again drooling over some foreign team..........its sickly

As long as Brazil don't win it - I'm not bothered

They don't deserve to be wearing the same top as some of the great Brazil sides from the past.

It did look like Sepp Blatter might have had money on Brasil to win...

I can see myself rapidly losing interest in this World Cup if this is the standard of refereeing and level of cheating we are going to get.

It will be interesting to see what goes on in Argentina's games.

You might change your mind about that when you see a few more matches and everyone is diving about, fouling and cheating, while the commentators are telling you what such great players they are. Then it'll be, so long as these, these, these and these don't win it - I'm not bothered. And before too long, if England are knocked out, it'll just be "I'm not bothered".

    if?

    surely you meant when

Must admit the cheating and reffing spoiled it for me yesterday and if that is going to be the norm I will very quickly lose interest

I can dream. This is probably the least anyone expects of an England team at a world cup. Nobody is giving us a chance. There is no expectation. Might work in our favour, we might actually do summat. Probably not, we'll probably be ****, but you never know.

Bit of advice.........try to control your fingers.........and at the same time (if you can manage it) engage your brain.
Then you will find that you don't actually OPEN one of my posts when you see it.

Your post very much reminded me of one of the Simpsons episodes where they installed a big red button in Homers office with the words 'do not press'.

But like Homer...........yer just couldn't resist.

Are you in any way related to the Simpsons?
