There is mainly 1 person who has changed a lot for us........................Peter Ramage, only 2 games in but how much more confident (except 1st min today) do we look at the back. Hourihane has been getting Goals & Assists etc but Ramage could well be the signing of the Season. Way too good for this League

I'll second that, T1. I wasn't too sure after one minute in, but Ramage grew and grew as the game went on. I thought he looked average in the Championship, but as you say, in this league, a class above. Grandfathertyke tells me he's after his coaching badges, so hopefully we can entice him longer term - with a migration to player-coach at some stage?

Ramage & Turnbull have added that steel to the back that was needed.

Turnbull, Ramage, Cranie, Bailey, Hourihane & Winnall (if he plays like he did yesterday) are a quality spine of a team for league one

I think that's a pertinent point. However, we have improved as well. I'm guessing Posh will have quick lads. They allus do.

I'd take four. Be delighted with five or six, and bloody ecstatic with nine.

I think the goalkeeper is an improvement on last year
And its great to have Ramage back
But the defence is still the weak part of the team because of the fullbacks
Its good to give Bree a few games but he isn't quite ready to be the regular right back..........but there is no one else to fill that spot, Brown is definitely not a full back
As for the left back, we just don't have anyone for that position..........Nyatanga like Brown is more suited to centre back

We seem to have a wealth of players that can play centre back........and just one 16 year old kid who is available to play fullback

He's 17, and he's one of our most consistent performers. He's also one of the first names on my teamsheet.

His age might be the only thing that stops him from playing every week, but his performances for me are too good for us to drop him.

    Opinions.
