now i have posted this Yarn before
But this time when i say Nudge Nudge wink wink
you should Know what i mean
Ok lets Go
i was driving a leyland Hippo ten tonner
remeber i am 5 foot 2 tall
my job was to take timber 12 x 12 to make bunkers
Now when i went on the road i was supposed to have
a shot gun Guard,for obvious War area reasons Nudge nudge
but becuase it never happened i never had a shot gun(guard)
Until i went to the City of Seoul
miles away from any trouble
i always got 4 shot guns
because we stayed over night (nudge nudge wink)
was available,i took afvantage once only
i made the trip many times
now we were given K rations
that is a Box of food
and let me tell they were better than the food we had every day
But in Seoul we had our Data Base
they had a commandered a Hotel
Yes a real Hotel
now normaaly e stayed on e night
in this Hotel, and gave them our Krations for a good meal
there was just one night i did not sleep in the hotel
but took to the streets
with a little chico(BOY)who took us to a you know what (nudge nudge) nothing more than a pig sty
i did not bother any more after that
But when i had to take a load on New Years eve
the poers that be
forgot that the Koreans enjoyed an holiday too
and instead of over night it tokk 4 days
Now , i had parked my truck in the streets i put it in reverse(BIG Mistake)
it was 30 degrees below Zero
now on the first night the lads went off for (nudge,Nudge)
i stayed in the Hotel
then the second night
but on the 3 night New years eve the lads were skint had enough
and the lads in the Hotel turned us out
Yes turened us out No mercy
and there we were wandering round seoul
skint cold humgry
we found a Us army unit
they took pity on us 4 and gave us thier left overs
and let us sleep in their mess room on the wooden forms
Now,you would think that would be a happy ending
BUT no
next Morning i went to my truck
the Gear Box was frozen solid
we had to find a recovery vehicle
and he towed us
now being in reverse gear
he had to tow us in revers can you imagine
me at 5 2 trying to look Back on an icy raod and with my foot on the clutch and the others lads trying to knosk the gear lever into neautral
we did it succsess fully
and were we glad to get back to the noise of rattle crash Crunch
