All week i've been hammered for 'being negative', by trying to put some perspective on the size of the task we were up against today. I said 'they'll put 5 past us', and I was hammered for saying it. I suggested the optimists would instantly turn on the Club shortly after. I was hammered for it. I questioned whether all this optimism would be still around at 7.30. I was hammered for it. And now I come on here, and shock horror, read absolute bollock$, slating the team and manager, about a team up against a squad worth over £100m. Short ******* memories chaps
Congratulations. I didn't think we'd get a result but I kept optimistic rather than admitting defeat before we'd even kicked a ball. Now it's happened I'm not too fussed. We didn't play well, got the tactics wrong but at the end of the day it doesn't really matter as long as we learn from it. I'm not going to slag the team off. Nothing like a good snipe at other fans though eh?

I agree tomfun Does no good getting at team or manager. We got what we expected, out played but not all of the match.
