Was going to buy £91 worth of stuff tomorrow from the club shop, I buy the training gear instead of the replica kit because i'm not 10 years old, also theirs the fact i don't want to be buying something that's out of date in 10 months, but now i'm in two minds as to buy them, or wait six months for the new kit manufacture and club crest, spending £91 is a lot of money to me, and i'm not sure spending it on something that's going to be dated in 6 months is a good idea. wonder if any other people will be put off buying loved ones BFC clobber for Christmas due to the same reasons why i'm not sure Do you think the club have dropped a clanger telling us there changing the crest ?
If they hadn't informed us you would be having the argument in the summer saying you want a full refund etc
Good point about the new badge. I was thinking of buying a new polo shirt but I'll wait now. Actually wish I'd got one last season when they had the 125th anniversary badge on it.
buying the replica dosent mean your 10 does it?? if so i must be 10..but on the subject of the items i would deffo buy the training gear as they look smart and the quality will be 100 times better!
When the club decide on a new badge, Super Spart Sports will spring into action with iron on crests...guaranteed to last five washes... This time next year, Rodders, we'll be millionaires...
Don't they change the training gear every season anyway? So buying it would be it'll be dated the season after
Manufacturer and club badge changed pretty much every year or two anyway but I see your point. Like going out to buy and car and know the 14 plate be new facelift
Can't see them dropping the Nike stuff to be honest, although they ought to drop Just Sport, the club could do what Just Sport do on their own. Cut out the middle man and make more money.
you say buying replica shirts makes you a 10-year-old, but to me being bothered that the crest is out of date sounds more like a ten-year-old
I was in the Ridings yesterday walking past the Wildcats shop they had last seasons home and away shirts reduced to a tenner and the season before kit for £5 as they don't change their colours that often it seemed a very good pricing structure for the shirts just prior to xmas too!
Any kit, training or replica, will be out of date within 12 months. I wouldn't let it worry you Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
No not at all. The cub shop might be upset as they are an independent franchise but I don't think many people will hold off. As someone has already said they change these kits each season anyway.
