According to Thirsk Red we're bringing in an SPL midfielder.

How much truth is there, I don't know.

The midfield does need some work though, if we brought someone in, and when Kell is fit I think it'd be a reasonably decent midfield, suspensions and injuries permitting.

Good idea, I think we definitely need a few more signings.

A midfielder who can tackle, isn't afraid to put his foot in
A defender with a big presence who will put any part of his body infront of the ball.

I think this squad isn't too far from completion, but at the moment it isn't strong enough for a decent promotion push.

Let's just hope Colgan proves us all wrong.

Vaughan had a few good games last season, unfortunately the majority weren't so good! His challenge at Hartlepool did make me laugh though, luckily it didn't cost us the match.

...but he knows he's been signed as a winger....as does everyone else.

Vaughan could be really useful this year. He could carry loads of pies for everyone in the ground.

It's because he IS a left winger.

I hope Vaughan has a good season, I think if he can keep his head, and think about what he's actually doing he would be a decent leader.

And, with a bit of luck McPhail's late season form will carry through into this season.

We have the makings of a decent team, we just need to implement these makings into something real and actually challenge for promotion.

 

But on the plus side...
