    Barnsley Judo Club - Barnsley Sports Club of the Year 2011 and Yorkshire and Humberside Judo Club of the Year 2011, are running the BJA 10 week Adult Beginners Course http://www.britishjudo.org.uk/home/2012ABC.php
    British Judo Association - Venue: Holgate School Sports College 7pm - 8pm Tuesday 24 January 2012 .... for 10 weeks
    Should equip you for night out in Tarn ... though you'll probably need 12 months to take on all comers in Wombwell ...

    how old do beginners have to be for that, looking to take grandson he's 4 to something like that judo or karate.

    The Tuesday night session is over 18s only - 10 week Adult Beginners Course - subsidised by the British Judo Association .....
    Juniors can turn up to the Monday/Thursday session .... but as Judo is a full contact sport, we can only take 8 year old and above .... we may start a Saturday 5-7 year old class in Feb .... which will be mainly Judo games and much less fighting
